Horizon Community Grants Open
Applications for community parternships are now open for not-for-profits in Horizon Power service areas.
If you are making a difference in your community in regional WA...
Then you could be eligible for funding from $1,000 up to $50,000 if your initiative impacts local communities in any of Horizon Power's service areas.
What can be supported:
- Initiatives/events that are regionally based in Horizon Power’s service area
- Initiatives/events that will contribute to the community and have clear community outcomes
- Initiatives/events that are aligned to at least one of Horizon Power’s guiding principles
- Events that are accessible for all and are free or very low cost to attend
- Equipment/fit-out for organisations delivering projects in the regions
- Projects that are time limited (not ongoing)
- Activities that support good health and wellbeing in communities.
What can’t be supported:
- Organisations associated with or promoting gambling, alcohol, smoking or drug use
- Individuals
• Commercial activities
• Federal or State Government led projects
• Individual sporting teams
• Political activities
• Schools
• Religious activities
• Initiatives based outside of Horizon Power’s service area - Ongoing operational costs
- Community fundraising eg fetes, corporate golf days or charity dinners
- Prizes or trophies for sporting events
- Cash prizes.
